COP4 del Acuerdo de Escazú / COP4 to the Escazú Agreement

English below Nos complace informar que ya se encuentra habilitada la página web de la cuarta reunión de la Conferencia de las Partes del Acuerdo de Escazú (COP4). La reunión tendrá lugar en Nassau, Bahamas entre el 21 y el 24 de abril de 2026. El objetivo de la COP4 del Acuerdo de Escazú será la consideración y aprobación de diversos proyectos de decisión. Asimismo, se presentarán informes de la Mesa Directiva, Secretaría y el Comité de Apoyo a la Aplicación y el Cumplimiento y rutas de implementación nacional, y se podrá conocer cualquier otro asunto que las Partes decidan. La reunión tendrá carácter presencial, y contará con transmisión en vivo. Para participar de manera presencial, aquellas personas interesadas deben completar el registro en línea disponible en la página de la Conferencia a partir del 2 de febrero de 2026 a las 11:00 a.m. hora de Santiago, Chile. En la misma se discutirán los temas a tratar en la cuarta reunión de la Conferencia de las Partes. La reunión será transmitida en vivo. The meeting will take place at Nassau, Bahamas between 21 and 24 April 2026. The objective of COP4 to the Escazú Agreement will be the consideration and approval of various draft decisions. Likewise, reports from the Secretariat, Presiding Officers, and Committee to Support Implementation and Compliance and national implementation roadmaps will be presented, and any other matter that the Parties decide will be discussed. The meeting will be in-person, and will be broadcast live. To participate in-person, interested persons must complete the online registration form that will become available at the Conference webpage on 2 February 2026 at 11:00 am Santiago, Chile time.
